Cork Flooring
Natural cork flooring comes from the bark of the Cork Oak tree. Unlike most trees that lose their bark, the Cork Oak tree is able to survive losing it’s bark and will even regrow it. The cork from these trees can be harvested about every decade over the 200 year life of the tree. The same bark is used to make both flooring and wine corks.
