Luxury Vinyl Floor Care
Each manufacturer recommends different cleaning procedures and products to protect the finish of their floor. Vinyl floors cannot be refinished, so a regular cleaning schedule is very important to keep your floor looking great.
Here are a few tips for keep your vinyl floors clean:
- Sweep or vacuum (without the use of a beater bar) regularly to prevent dirt and grit from scratching the floor.
- Occasionally wipe the floor with a damp mop, without allowing water to stand on the floor surface.
- Periodically clean the floor with a manufacturer approved cleaning product.
- Try to remove your shoes (especially high heels!) before walking across the floor. If that’s not possible, use floor mats to wipe your feet near the entrances.
